The IEEE Oceanic Engineering Society (OES) and the Marine Technology Society (MTS) co-sponsor two OCEANS Conferences each year. The North American conferences will typically convene in September or October. OCEANS in Asia-Pacific (even years) and OCEANS in Europe (odd years) will alternate years and will generally convene in May or June. This format is intended to recognize, encourage, and support greater international participation in the OCEANS Conferences.
