OES Student Scholarship Program

The OES Scholarship Program is Changing

First of all, we want to thank all students who have applied for OES Scholarships and congratulations to the many who received such financial support. However, at this time the OES scholarship program is being changed. This is being done so that the society can apply the available funds to working directly with students to advance their careers through direct involvement with the society and the OCEANS conferences. We are presently establishing how we will judge these awards, which will include coverage of travel expenses to the OCEANS conferences, and invite the chosen students to participate. The new program will hopefully be in place in August, following meetings to be held at OCEANS '17 Aberdeen in June. Stay tuned.
